This beautiful wood fireplace surround can be used as the front piece of a fireplace, and the fire is in the hearth behind it. The fireplace surround is in two pieces, and when assembled one on top of the other, the approximate height is 9 feet tall. The width is approximately 5 feet.

The fireplace surround is made from English Oak. The coats of arms of both families are engraved onto the fireplace surround. The detailed wood engravings and carvings are beautiful. This is an extremely rare and high quality piece.

This piece is English, from the Elizabethan era.

This carved oak piece is from the 16th or 17th Century, dating from circa 1575-1630.

This carved oak bust type figure shows extensive worm damage, indicated by the small holes all around the piece. This is normal, and in most cases desirable, as it helps to prove this pieces' age.

The piece measures 6" high, 7" wide at the top, 5" wide at the bottom, and 2" deep.
