This is an antique Sterling Silver American Teapot

This Sterling Silver teapot was made by Bailey Banks and Biddle in Philadelphia.

This sterling silver teapot has a capacity of 2 1/4 pints, and the interior is very clean. The handle has ivory separators to keep the handle from heating up. This teapot was made in the late 19th Century. The engraving on this beautiful teapot is reminescent of Irish sterling silver hand chasing.

This sterling silver Bailey Banks and Biddle Teapot measures 11 1/2" long and 5" wide. It is marked 925 sterling. This sterling silver teapot weighs 36 troy ounces.

Japanese Sterling Silver Pumpkin Gilding 19th Century Antique

This is an antique silver Pumpkin from Japan, that is probably sterling, though unmarked.

This small pumpkin is made primarily from silver, with some oxidized silver as well to add color and interest. It is in the shape of a pumpkin, surrounded by pumpkin leaves and vines. Some of the leaves are gilded.

This Japanese small pumpkin was made in the late 19th century, prior to the use of any precious metal marking system by Japan.

This sterling silver pumpkin is very small, only about 3" wide and about 2 1/2" tall. It has a weight of 3 troy ounces.

This is an 800 European Silver Serving Tray.

This sterling silver tray is marked with a crown hallmark, possibly a Finnish mark, though the origin is unknown.

This silver serving tray has beautiful edge work, and measures 13 3/8" by 22". It was purchased from Sothebys 25-30 years ago.

This sterling silver serving tray weighs 41 troy ounces. This tray has a few small dings, which should be restored with a professional polish.

Continental Silver Russian Open Salts 1890s Tabletop Carved

This is a pair of Continental 800 or 875 Silver Russian Open Salts.

These Russian open salts are made with Russian silver marked as 84 zolotniki, which translates into .875 fineness. These salts are also marked with a kokoshnik in left facing profile, indicating that this pair of Russian salts was made between 1896 and 1908.

This intircately detailed set of Russian open salts has been carved and designed to look like a table top with a table cloth hanging over the edge. The legs and feet of the salts, standing on a flat base, resemble intricately carved table legs.

This set of silver Russian open salts weighs 9 troy ounces. The Russian salts each have slightly different measurements. The first measures 3" high, with a diameter of 2 7/8". The second measures 2 7/8" high, with a diameter of 2 7/8". One of the salts has a small ding in the side close to the rim, detailed in the photos.

This is an antique Continental Silver Square Tray.

This beautiful tray has a pierced gallery and beading around the top. This square Continental Silver tray was made in Amsterdam, Holland in the 19th Century.

The maker of this square tray is A. Bonebakker and Zoom. This square tray has a large monogram in the center of the tray, with the initals "TNB". This continental silver tray is on raised feet, and the back has several names inscribed.

This 800 Silver Square tray measures 11 1/8" square. It has a weight of 38 troy ounces. There are some very small pit marks in the large open area of the tray.

This is an antique French Continental Silver Carving Set.

This French carving set contains a carving fork and carving knife. The carving knife has a steel blade, and the carving fork has steel tines. The marking on this carving set indicates that it was made in circa 1840, in Paris. The handles are French Continental Silver.

This continental silver carving set comes in its original box. The box and the handles are both monogrammed. The carving fork has a continental silver rabbit motif retractable guard attached to the handle.

This continental silver knife measures 13" long, and the continental silver carving fork measures 11" long. The troy ounce weight is unknown. This set is in good condition, but does show signs of wear and use to the blade and tines.
