Louis XVI ormolu gilded bronze mounted wall clock. 19th Century, French.

Large central face with numerals and large hands. Face and border decorated with ormolu gilded bronze. Hourly chimes, needs overhaul for proper functioning.

Clock face bordered on each side by feline heads in open-mouth gesture. Below the face is the head of a cherubim. Filigreed stylized foliar designs beneath the cherubim, extending below to form a plaque below the clock face. Above the face a crown design, terminating in a stylized foliar design at the top.

Measures 29” high, 12” wide, 5” deep.
