Silver Plated Serving Tray Antique pre 18th Century Chased

This is a very large, antique silver plated footed serving tray.

The exact date of this piece is unknown, but it was made prior to the 18th Century, and may be as old as the 16th Century. Fine hand chasing detail on the main surface of the tray, with ornate floral designs all around the border.

This silver plated footed serving tray measures 30" wide by 20" deep. This silver tray is in excellent condition with no major scratches. Some of the central designs have faded over time, probably with repeated past polishing. To shine at its best, this tray should be polished prior to display, and can be polished by the buyer with fair results.
