This is a beautiful pair of Antique authentic Ivory Mandarin Figures, hand-carved.

These lovely figures are elegantly hand-carved with exquisite attention to detail.

The statue of the man carrying a weapon is the protector of the other man, who may have represented a messenger or musician. This is a traditional type of carving found in Chinese art.

These lovely figures were made in the late 19th Century.

The statues each measure 13" high with the stand, and 12" high withiut the stand. The base diameter is 3".
