This is a beautiful Letter Opener made of Mother of Pearl, Agate, and metal.

The metal on the handle is either silver or silver bronze, and it is inset with many different semi-precious stones. It contains cabuchon or carnelian, an elegant agate blade, and a ruby or other semi-precious stone set in the center of the handle.

The ornate handle is made from Mother of Pearl shaped like a nautilus, and the metal surrounding the Mother of Pearl is elaborately decorated. The back of the handle contains the signature "Orfaley" This letter opener was most likely made in the early 20th Century.

The blade is made from a piece of multicolored agate. The agate contains swirls of blue and orange, with the blue color making up most of the blade.

This is an exquisite antique carving on a Wooly Mammoth Tusk, of the Legend of the Monkey King.

The Legend of the Monkey King is also called “Journey to the West,” and describes the journey taken by the Buddhist monk Xuan Zang. Xuan Zang journeyed to India to obtain the Buddhist sutras, which he then brought with him back to China. Through his translation of these texts, and dispersal of the sutras throughout China, he was the founder of the Dharma character school of Buddhism in China. The Legend of the Monkey King also tells the tale of a monkey who was born from a stone and nourished by the five elements, The Monkey King’s name was Sun Wukong, which name was given to him by his Kung Fu master, who taught him the 72 polymorphic transformations, the art of combat in Kung Fu, and how to leap halfway around the world in a single leap. He also learned the secrets of immortality. The Monkey King became one of the servants of Xuan Zang in the story after he repeatedly rebels against the heavens, and is finally subdued by the Buddha, where he is trapped beneath a mountain for 500 years, awaiting his new purpose.

This is an Antique Georgian Style Sterling Silver Condiment Set

This lovely condiment set was made by Asprey & Co, appointed as Silversmiths & Jewellers to Her Majesty the Queen

This sterling silver condiment set contains a salt container lined with blue cobalt glass, a pepper shaker, and a mustard dispenser also lined with blue cobalt glass, as well as two spoons, one for dispensing salt, the other for mustard.

At the time this condiment set was made, in London, England, 1962, salt was very valuable. Thus, the salt shaker is opened at the top, with the blue cobalt glass liner, so that the salt was visible. This condiment set is in its original box, and is in excellent condition. Sterling made in the Georgian style was somewhat larger and heavier.

This lovely condiment set has a combined weight of 265 grams of sterling silver.

The sterling silver condiment pieces measure as follows: Sterling silver mustard container: 2" high, 2 1/4" diameter, 3 1/2" long from the edge to the handle. The sterling silver salt container measures 1 1/2" high, and 2 1/4" in diameter. The sterling silver pepper shaker measures 3" high, and 1 1/2" in diameter. The sterling silver mustard spoon measures 3 1/4" long, with the spoon's width being 1/2" to 3/4", and the sterling silver salt spoon measures 2 1/2" long, and the spoon's diameter is 3/4" (the salt spoon is round). Christofle is a bar in France, and this cocktail menu is an interesting way to choose the drinks patrons would like to be served.

This silver plated menu features a revolving dial anchored at the center. When the dial is turned, the central piece is used as an arrow to point to one of the drinks whose names are arranged in a circle around the dial. When the dial is pointing to a drink, the dose for each liquer item is revealed, as something of a recipe guide. For example, Blue Kamikaze would consist of 2 does of Cointreau, 2 doses of Blue Curacao, and 2 doses of lemon vodka.

This is an antique Sterling Silver Coin and Money Holder or Purse

This unique item has a clasp at the edge, and a carrying strap. When opened, the interior has a gold wash.

One side of the opened money purse has a clip for holding bills, and the other side has two coin holders with springs for easy removal of the coins. It also features a mirror on the coin holder side. The composition of this money purse is all sterling silver, except for the springs and the mirror.

This money purse is American, and was made by Elgin in the 1920s - 1930s.

This money purse is initaled on the front with the letters ETS in a logo shape.

Elling Reitan was born in Trondheim, Norway, in 1949. Elling Reitan is considered one of Norway’s leading contemporary artists, and his artwork is in high demand in Norway. His inspirations for his paintings often stem from dream symbology and fantasy life. Elling studied under one of Norway’s most internationally celebrated painters, Odd Nerdrum. Elling Reitan’s works are often surrealistic, with elements of abstraction and naturalism. He uses bold and beautiful colors to describe his artistic vision. This is a pair of antique Busts from the Workshop of Niccolo Rocatagliata in Venice.

This pair of Renaissance busts was made in Italy in the 16th Century. The busts represent fauns, a mythological creature. The busts are nude and have fruit vines draped across their chests.

The busts are gilt bronze, and were made in c. 1575.

The busts are in excellent condition, however one has a reinforcement on the back.

This is an antique Credenza made in the Mid-Century Modern Style, in 1971

This Credenza is a two-sided piece of furniture. No photos were taken of the second side.

This Credenza is made of Solid Rosewood. This Credenza originates from Norway. The rosewood lends it an elegant and distinctive look.

The front side of the credenza features a front center cabinet, which locks (the key is included). There are four door on the front. When the center doors are opened, they reveal a large storage area. When one of the side doors is opened, there are five drawers on the inside. The other side door opens to reveal several shelves. This is a pair of Beautiful Museum Quality Japanese Porcelain Vases with a floral and bird design, from the early 20th Century

The Vases have been housed in a convent, and the markings on the bottom are Japanese Kutani, and help to determine the age of the pieces. . These lovely vases are hand-painted with a design of a bird and flowers on each side. The designs on the two vases are slightly different, and the photos depict the vases side by side.

The vases are made of high quality fine porcelain, and are very delicate and beautiful. They are museum quality vases. The shape of the vases is a typical Chinese shape, although the vases are Japanese.

There are markings in Japanese characters on the bottom of each vase, which I have not translated. Beautiful and delicate blue and pink flowers are painted on the sides of the vase, with gentle green leaves. A bird is alighting on or taking flight from the flowers, depending on which vase you are viewing. These vases are a wonderful addition to your collection of fine Porcelain Japanese vases.

The vases each measure 12" tall. The exquisite designs on the vases are very detailed and lovely.

This is a lovely set of 7 Victorian Vintage Animal Horm Cups/ Tumblers.

They are made from animal horn in a traditional Victorian style. These are vintage tumblers. . <

These tumblers are in excellent condition, except for a defect on one of the cups (see photo) A crack was glued, possibly at the time of manufacture, but that is uncertain

One of these tumblers has cork on the bottom as a base. Another tumbler has a lead base. All of the other tumblers are made only of animal horn. This is an excellent collectible set of original animal horn tumblers!

These tumblers have a very smooth texture, and a very unique appearance. This is being sold as one set of 7 tumblers from the Victorian era. This book comes with its original hard box with the Raggedy Ann cover graphic on the front.

This is an Asparagus and Artichoke Plate from France

This interesting ceramic plate was made in France between 1880-1900. The plate contains an indentation on one side in the shape of an artichoke, probably to serve artichokes in.

This lovely plate is made by Majolica and is marked Depose K G Luneville. The main color of this plate is a gorgeous turquoise color, and the artichoke and asparagus heads are a vibrant purple color, topped with green.

These beautiful plates are hand-thrown, evidence of which can be seen in the straw marks which show on the plates.

These Majolica plates do show some sign of their age, due to the nature of the material, however there are no chips, cracks or other repairs to the plates. The full hallmark is on the bak of this plate. Please view the photos below for details of these colorful plates. They measure 9" diameter.
