MAFRASH CAUCASUS Baby Cradle Remant 1850s

This is a beautiful pillow made with a baby cradle remnat by the Mafrash Caucasus peoples

Green, blue, red, and beige shapes adorn the central part of the pillow, and two parallel borders run along the bottom.

This pillow is made from a baby cradle remnant originally created in the 1800s, and is made with a sumac weave. This remnant was part of a baby cradle, which would have been hung from the ceiling with a baby in it.

The pillow's back is made from plain muslin.

This beautiful pillow measures 26" by 16"
