This is an antique Bronzed Lead Plaquette relief from the Renaissance.

The plaquette features a battle scene fought in front of a castle, and is a relief sculpture.

This plaquette is most likely German or Italian, from the Renaissance, in the style of that period. This lead plaquette was created in the 17th Century, and is an authentic antique, NOT a reproduction.

The plaquette is made of lead which has been bronzed.

This piece meaures 10 1/2" high, 2 1/2" deep.
