Louis Philippe style Commode 3 Drawer. French, 19th Century, circa 1840.

Rectangular commode with 3 drawers divided by wood strips. Metal pulls in a fleur-de-lis reminiscent shape, but with carved stylized fruit and floral decorations as the petals. Pull attached at the central portion, with stylized birds in relief, joined together at the bottom by stylized fruit and floral designs.

Each of three drawers with central lock, surrounded by stylized floral (mainly rose) designs, carved in relief as bouquets, joined together at the central bottom.

Commode is burl walnut veneer with gray marble top veined with white. Commode rests upon heavy square feet. Dovetailed drawers.

Measures 47 3/4” by 22”, 30” high.

Transitional style commode in a kidney shape with marble top. Bronze mounted ormolu gilded pierced gallery surrounds the marble shape, extending to border the marble. Bronze mounted ormolu decoration on the drawer pulls and keyholes, in stylized foliate design.

Sides topped by stylized foliate designs hanging from a flag-type shape, and bottom center decorated with bronze mounted ormolu gilding in stylized foliate design. Slightly cabriole legs with bronze mounted ormolu gilded feet.

Measures 34” high, 35” wide, and 22” deep.

Louis XV or Transitional style three drawer commode. 19th Century, French.

Original dove-tailed drawers. Braishe du Lip marble top. Three drawers with separating piece between, rectangular in shape with recessed front.

Bronze drawer pulls and decorative elements on the sides and front. Central pulls surmounted with stylized foliate designs, and flanking pulls decorated with beading. Leg style indicates Louis XV or Transitional.

Small crack on one side of the commode, shown in the photos. Otherwise excellent condition.

Measures 46" long, 17 1/2" deep, and 34" high.

Bombe front three drawer commode with light brown faux marble top. Each of three drawers features two drawer pulls and a central lock. Lock is decorated with floral and foliate design. Drawer pull carved with floral and foliate relief design, attached pull at the ends, with carved relief of stylized floral and foliate design.

Scalloped skirt below the third drawer. Three drawer commode in light cream color. Claw and ball feet. Marble top with scalloped edge.

Measures 38 1/2” wide, 32 1/2” high.
