This giant vase is made of porcelain, and is gilded in 18K gold. Lion handles and ancient dragons decorate the neck of this lovely pair of vases, and the handles and dragons are gilded. Gilding also accents the painted roses appearing all over the vase. This is an exquisite and elegant pair of vases. This pair of vases was made in the late 20th Century.

This beautiful pair of vases each measure 36" tall, and 19" wide. The stand shown in the photographs is a specially made stand from a very rare wood called chicken wing wood. It is the lightest of the hardwoods, and the most difficult to craft into furniture and other items. This is a Massive Cloisonne Antique Vase in Turqoise .

This enormous vase was made in the late 19th Century, and is a beautiful color of turquoise. In the cloisonne style, this vase is made from enamelled bronze, with beautiful floral and bird designs covering the body of the vase. This vase is a very finely made cloisonne creation, and was custom made for a private collection. The edges of the opening and other areas on the vase are also gilded.

This huge vase measures 40" tall, and 28" wide.

Massive George III Warwick Vase in sterling silver, London, England, 19th Century.

Made in 1818 by Solomon Royes & John, East Dix, London. May be one of the earliest and largest examples in sterling silver. The original Warwick Vase, from which this vase was cast in 1818, was found in pieces in Rome at Hadrian's Villa.

The original Warwick vase was an ancient Roman marble vase with Bacchic ornament. Two large handles formed of interwoven vine branches, spreading around the upper margin as tendrils, leaves, and clustering grapes, with classical Bacchinal masks and emblems, including a pine cone tip staff known as a thyrsus. The heads around the Warwick vase represent satyrs, surmounting the head and body of a panther. One of the satyr heads is said to be a representation of Lady Hamilton with a fawn's ear.

Sterling silver Warwick vase has an urn shape, and stands on a square pedestal foot.

This sterling silver Warwick vase weighs 425 troy ounces, or 13,220 grams of pure sterling silver. This is well over 29 pounds.

Art Deco Vases Hand Blown Frosted Glass Pair, 20th Century, French.

Hand blown glass vases with frosted glass tiered square bases. Stylized foliate design in the Art Deco style, the bottom of the vases resting on the base, and widens toward the top with the opening resembling a large open double leaf.

Frosted glass on two sides of the vases, and clear glass on the other sides. Stylized leaf veins through the clear glass and the frosted glass, toward the top.

Made in France in the 20th Century, circa 1920.

The size of the two is variable. One measures 6 1/2" high, the other 6" high, both have a mouth 8" wide at the widest part.

This is a pair of Beautiful Museum Quality Japanese Porcelain Vases with a floral and bird design, from the early 20th Century

The Vases have been housed in a convent, and the markings on the bottom are Japanese Kutani, and help to determine the age of the pieces. These lovely vases are hand-painted with a design of a bird and flowers on each side. The designs on the two vases are slightly different, and the photos depict the vases side by side.

The vases are made of high quality fine porcelain, and are very delicate and beautiful. They are museum quality vases. The shape of the vases is a typical Chinese shape, although the vases are Japanese.

There are markings in Japanese characters on the bottom of each vase, which I have not translated. Beautiful and delicate blue and pink flowers are painted on the sides of the vases, with gentle green leaves. A bird is alighting on or taking flight from the flowers, depending on which vase you are viewing. These vases are a wonderful addition to your collection of fine Porcelain Japanese vases.

The vases each measure 12" tall. The exquisite designs on the vases are very detailed and lovely.

This is a beautiful intricately designed Austrian Floral Vase or Plant Holder from 1890

This lovely floral plant holder has a handle that is red paint gilded with 14K gold. Most of the gold has worn off due to age.

This lovely plant holder has a beautiful painting of purple flowers on the front of the planter.

The planter has scalloped edges and an oddly shaped central opening. This is a beautiful decorative antique piece. The marking on the bottom states "Made in Austria," and there is an initial "RH"

Aside from the wear to the 14K gold gilding on the handle, this plant holder/ vase is in excellent condition.
