Victorian Monteith Bowl in Sterling Silver. English 19th Century.

Large upright bowl standing on a round base with carved stylized design to the edge. Large oval cartouche at the center between two lion's head handles at each side. Cartouche surrounded on top and sides by filigreed design, with snake skin type of design between the filigree and the cartouche.

Scrolling to the upper edge of the detachable piece, decorated with cherub faces with stylized foliate design below. Lion heads at each side of the bowl, with handle suspended from the sides of the mouth, and filigree design below the chin. Chased designs below the lion heads, near the top of the bowl's rim, and near the edges of the detachable piece. Made by D and J Welby, properly marked with English markings.

Measures 11 3/4” high, diameter of 14 1/2”. Weighs 3,842 grams, or 123 ½ troy ounces. Cartouche has a few small dings.

English Victorian Tilting Hot Water Kettle in Sterling Silver, 2 pieces, 19th Century, 1874.

Hot water kettle fits into the base at the sides. Elongated octagonal shape from the top, with chased abstract designs bordering the top and bottom around the sides of the body. Removable lid at the top, surmounted by a large foldable handle with small inserts to keep the center top of the handle cool. Hinged lid at the top, which also features chased designs. Beaded edges on the kettle and around the lid. Long spout at the side.

This has a different floral pattern on it. In the center of the quilt are strips of fabric of many different vibrant colors arranged in an interesting geometric design.

This is a lovely set of 7 Victorian Vintage Animal Horm Cups/ Tumblers.

They are made from animal horn in a traditional Victorian style. These are vintage tumblers.

These tumblers are in excellent condition, except for a defect on one of the cups (see photo) A crack was glued, possibly at the time of manufacture, but that is uncertain

One of these tumblers has cork on the bottom as a base. Another tumbler has a lead base. All of the other tumblers are made only of animal horn. This is an excellent collectible set of original animal horn tumblers!

These tumblers have a very smooth texture, and a very unique appearance. This is being sold as one set of 7 tumblers from the Victorian era. This is a Silver Plated Pen Holder & Inkwell with a gift inscription.

It features one inkwell on each side of the platter, with a pen older at the back, and two brooms crossed in the center, reminescent of the game of curling.

This silver plated inkwell and pen holder is created in the Victorian style, and was made in circa 1890. This silver plated inkwell and pen holder was given as a gift, and inscribed "Best Wishes to Vernon O. Bowles from his old friends of the Lummus Co. 1-29-46" in 1946.

The inwell and pen holder is silver plated, and the inkwell has a glass insert.

This lovely inkwell and pen holder also has leaf and abstract designs in lovely patterns over the whole of the tray.

This silver plated inkwell and pen holder measures 9 1/2" wide, 6 1/2" deep, and 5" tall. The inkwells each measure 2 1/2" tall, with a 3" diamter. The handle is 4" tall.
