French Asparagus Cuff in Sterling Silver, 19th Century, circa 1800

An asparagus cuff in sterling silver is a rare find; they are generally made of other metals.

Asparagus cuff is hinged at the center back, with stylized abstract border and stylized foliate design at the center of the edge of the cuff. Used for picking up spears of asparagus for serving. Excellent condition and working order.

Measures approximately 4" by 3 1/2". The weight of this piece is 6.2 ounces.
