This is an antique 18th Century French Louis XIV or Louis XV period Clock Case.

This antique clock case is made of veneered wood under bronze, with elaborate bronze mountings over the veneered wood. Some of the bronze mountings feature elaborate figure carvings.

The front and two sides of this clock case are veneered wood.

The top of this clock case opens to place a pocket watch inside, so that the pocket watch can be used as a clock. The top locks closed.

This lovey antique veneered clock case measures 101/2" high by 7" wide.
