Louis XVI 3 Piece Garniture Gilded Ormolu French 19th Century

Louis XVI style three piece garniture with mantle clock and pair of candelabra. 19th Century, French.

Vasiform cobalt porcelain mantle clock with central clock face with numerals, surrounded by bronze mounted ormolu gilded detailed floral design, connected by floral garlands to carved goat heads at the sides of the clock, also bronze mounted ormolu gilded. Hands are gilded and clock face is bordered within the floral design by a rope design, also bronze mounted ormolu gilded. Above the vasiform piece rests a concave cylinder seal shape decorated with carved abstract design, in front of which is a floral swag, with garlands of flowers connecting to the side of the cylinder seal, which is crowned above by additional detailed floral designs, and a bouquet at the top.

Vasiform shape rests on a bronze mounted gilded pedestal, at each side sits a cherubim, with central pierced sculpture of filigreed stylized floral design in an arched shape, with stylized floral designs above. Bronze mounted ormolu gilded feet at the sides decorated with stylized foliate designs.

Pair of vasiform cobalt porcelain candelabra, each with floral swag at the center, connected to stylized foliate garlands at each side, surmounted by intricately detailed branches each topped by highly detailed single flowers: lilies and daisies. The central branch is surmounted by a large lily. Several of the lilies are candle nozzles. The vasiform shape resting atop a bronze mounted ormolu gilded base with floral medallions at the centers and corners of each of four sides.
