This is an intricately designed and highly detailed Turkish Mudjur Prayer Rug

This beautiful rug has a main color of red. In the very center is a square shape which terminates in a double arrow pointing towards one end of the carpet. Bordering the central rectangle are three borders with geometric and floral designs.

This Mudjur Prayer rug, made in Turkey, was created in circa 1900.

The fringe at the edges shows very little age related wear. This carpet is in excellent condition, and the colors have retained their brightness and beauty.
