ITALIAN Renaissance Niccolo Roccatagliata Busts Bronze 1575

This is a pair of antique Busts from the Workshop of Niccolo Rocatagliata in Venice.

This pair of Renaissance busts was made in Italy in the 16th Century. The busts represent fauns, a mythological creature. The busts are nude and have fruit vines draped across their chests.

The busts are gilt bronze, and were made in c. 1575.

The busts are in excellent condition, however one has a reinforcement on the back.

The busts are small, approximately 10" tall with the stands, though exact measurements were not taken.
