Plaster Intaglio medallions kings and nobility of France

Plaster intaglios of French kings and other nobility. France, 19th Century, circa 1850.

Small plaster medallions with intaglio relief sculptures of one king or member of the nobility on each. Each medallion is set into a red velvet tray, with six trays each containing 12 medallions.

Original hard leather box with small shelves for insertion of each tray, and fold down front for easy removal.

Measures 12 3/4€ by 9 3/4€, and is 4 ½€ high.
