This is a beautiful antique glass mirror dexorated with columns at the sides of the mirror.

The main body of the mirror is divided into an upper and lower portion with a bar of brass across the top. Above the mirror is a finely detailed Aladdin Lamp.

Above each of the two columns on either side of the mirror rest a small detailed shell design.

This mirror is made of antique wood and brass. The mirror is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Its antique age is shown in the wood surrounding the mirror.

The mirror is in the shape of a rectangle with a pointed triangle at the top. The central mirror portion is bordered all around with pieced glass. At each of the corner points, there is a decorative pieced mirror accent.

This is an exquisitely detailed hand carved Chinese Sculpture representing "Longevity"

This beautiful massive sculpture is made of Natural Jade Mountain, and contains lavendar and imperial green jade mixed with white jade. This sculpture shows Longevity surrounded by birds and small children. This exquisite sculpture is extremely large and rare. It is carved from a single large piece of jade, without any additional attached pieces.

The Jade Mountain Carving of Longevity is all one piece. It was carved from a boulder of jadeite found (with a skin, intact) on a mountain in Burma. This piece of jade is similar to three other boulders found in the same place 300 years before this one was found. It was originally owned in its natural state by a wealthy family in China during the Qing Dynasty (the last dynasty in China prior to the republic). In around 1908, this piece was carved into the representation of Longevity as it is shown here. It was carved by an artist very skilled at this sort of carving, however, the artist's name is unknown. This was during the reign of the very last dynastic emperor of China, Puyi or Puyin. Puyi€™s reign was very short, lasting only four years. His throne was abdicated by the Empress Dowager Longyu. Puyi was only two years old when he assumed the throne, having been born in 1906.

This piece is made even more rare by the following interesting facts. First, it is lavender, green, and white jadeite, in a very translucent color which is even more striking in person; the white color is also a very pure white. Lavender jade is very rare. This piece was photographed through glass, as it was far too heavy to move. Additionally, the other interesting fact about this piece is that in Burma, where it was found, soldiers now guard the mountains, so that no jadeite may be removed from there. This boulder of jadeite was also cut by very hard diamonds, and has a hardness of about 7 on the moh's scale (the mohs scale is between 1 and 10).

According to the seller of the piece, there is some Chinese folklore associated with it. This piece represents Longevity, a figure based on "wise men" or hermits who lived in the mountains of China and were revered by farmers. They would often advise farmers who were walking in the mountains of which way to go to arrive at their destinations safely. They were very helpful to farmers and common people, but were known to not offer their help to those in power, and as such, were very respected by farmers and common people. The carved figure of Longevity was said to bring good luck to the family who owned such a piece. Longevity is shown holding a stick and hanging a gourd. These wise men were often vegetarians, and were surrounded by children and animals such as deer. He would have been well over a hundred years old.

The other three similar boulders of jadeite were sent to a museum, and have been exhibited there since they were found. I am not sure if these other three boulders were also carved, or if they remain in their natural state.

This jade sculpture is thought to bring good luck and long life.

This is an Antique Pottery Figure and Equestrian from the Tang Dynasty in China

This wonderful piece is from one of the most prosperous and powerful periods in China's history, the Tang Dynasty, existing between about 618 - 906 A.D. The Tang Dynasty was a glorious period in China's history, with a strong economy, culture, and military strength.

This wonderful sculpture depicts a woman riding a horse. Having survivied many centuries, much of the paint has come off this sculpture, though echoes of it still remain. The woman on the horse is wearing a dress that is painted red. Much of the red paint still remains. This interesting sculpture is called "worked forking," and was made specifically to be buried with its owner.

This interesting sculpture was found in a tomb from about 800 years ago. It is in good condition, considering its age. The material is unknown. The horse figure is standing on a square base, with its head held straight forward. The horse has a cropped mane, and the rider appears to be a woman wearing a full length tight fitting red tunic with a cowl at the front, and she is wearing black boots. One of her hands is by the saddle's pommel, and the other hand is at her side. Her hair is upswept into a knot on the top of her head. The rider's features are well-detailed, though some of the pottery on the face is worn.

Sculptures such as this one, made principally of painted and glazed pottery, are known as mingqi, or spirit goods, and were placed in tombs to provide for the deceased's needs in the afterlife. Female attendants were generally produced in groups for burial in the tombs of high-ranking women. The use of unfired clay to make this charming equestrian indicates that it was produced in eastern Central Asia during a period when ties between that region and China were particularly strong.

Her ensemble consists of a tight-fitting upper garment with a V-neck, narrow sleeves, and a long flaring skirt. Her hat would have been fitted with a veil for traveling in the desert. During the early days of the Tang dynasty (618€“906) in China, this type of clothing became fashionable in the capital Chang'an and other metropolitan centers, and women also wore such hats complete with veils, to protect them from the city dust."

This is an exquisite antique carving on a Wooly Mammoth Tusk, of the Legend of the Monkey King.

The Legend of the Monkey King is also called €œJourney to the West,€� and describes the journey taken by the Buddhist monk Xuan Zang. Xuan Zang journeyed to India to obtain the Buddhist sutras, which he then brought with him back to China. Through his translation of these texts, and dispersal of the sutras throughout China, he was the founder of the Dharma character school of Buddhism in China. The Legend of the Monkey King also tells the tale of a monkey who was born from a stone and nourished by the five elements, The Monkey King€™s name was Sun Wukong, which name was given to him by his Kung Fu master, who taught him the 72 polymorphic transformations, the art of combat in Kung Fu, and how to leap halfway around the world in a single leap. He also learned the secrets of immortality. The Monkey King became one of the servants of Xuan Zang in the story after he repeatedly rebels against the heavens, and is finally subdued by the Buddha, where he is trapped beneath a mountain for 500 years, awaiting his new purpose.

Massive George III Warwick Vase in sterling silver, London, England, 19th Century.

Made in 1818 by Solomon Royes & John, East Dix, London. May be one of the earliest and largest examples in sterling silver. The original Warwick Vase, from which this vase was cast in 1818, was found in pieces in Rome at Hadrian's Villa.

The original Warwick vase was an ancient Roman marble vase with Bacchic ornament. Two large handles formed of interwoven vine branches, spreading around the upper margin as tendrils, leaves, and clustering grapes, with classical Bacchinal masks and emblems, including a pine cone tip staff known as a thyrsus. The heads around the Warwick vase represent satyrs, surmounting the head and body of a panther. One of the satyr heads is said to be a representation of Lady Hamilton with a fawn's ear.

Sterling silver Warwick vase has an urn shape, and stands on a square pedestal foot.

Meissen porcelain three piece garniture with clock and two six-light candelabra. German, 19thCentury. The clock with arched upper portion, with bell shaped top sitting above. Porcelain in lattice shape on the bell-shaped top. A globe sits above the lattice, with wings at its sides, and a figure holding a sickle over one arm gazing at the goblet held aloft in the other hand standing atop the globe.

Large two hand face in upper central area, flanked by soldiers, cherubim, and figures. Above the face a blue medallion with a male face in profile, edged in gold. The body of the clock with two portions, an upside down bell shape set into a trapezoidal shaped base, atop which sits the upside down bell shaped lattice piece.

Beneath the face between the figures is a red somewhat heart shaped decoration with horses and wings in white in relief. Surrounding the face are vines and floral designs, continuing to the bottom. Above the face and medallion, a carved white eage with fierce expression stands.

At the center of the base is a small pastoral scene in relief.

Each candelabrun features a pair of figures, one female, the other cherubim. The female on each candelabrum is holding her arms about the cherubim. A column stands behind the figures on each candelabrum, each resting on a lattice base with floral designs surrounding the bottom. The candle holders above, also with floral designs.

Meissen porcelain clock and candelabra are in excellent condition.

Measurements: Clock: 35" high, 16" wide, 10" deep; Candelabra: 29 1/2" high, 8" wide at the base, arms measure 19".

Scrolling arms connected to the chair back at the center; chair back is slightly arched at the top. Cream upholstery at the center of the back, bordered on all sides by mahogany wood. Back legs are slightly curved, and the front legs are highly curved with scrolling tops connected to the scrolling arms by rectangular piece between, a plinth resting between the scrolling arms and the rectangular piece.

Scroll design on the legs is carved in relief, whereas on the arms, the scrolling is open and more pronounced. Chair apron mahogany wood.

Charles X Classical pair of six-light candelabra. French, early 19th Century, circa 1830.

Central column stem connects at the bottom to three stylized animal legs whose knees are decorated with jaguar faces, terminating in claw feet. Beneath the column and between the legs, a stylized foliate design. Center of the column is divided by carved stylized design, to which is attached a ring, which holds the terminations of five chains, hanging from each of the branches of the candelabra.

Pair of neoclassical style tole Jardiniers. 19th Century, French.

Sienna painted Jardiniers tapering to the bottom, with wide mouths. Interior of jardiniers is black. One side of exterior of jardiniers is painted in sienna with thin green painted borders and green swag with ribbon in the center, upon which is a carved bronze lion head with handles hanging from its mouth. Jardiniers rest on claw feet.

Venetian modern style mirror. French, 20th Century, circa 1950.

Square mirror with ponti design frame featuring a raised border and small raised circles at even intervals along the border of the frame. The borders continue to the edges, creating small box designs at each of the four corners of the mirror. The border is carved in a prism style, creating rainbows at certain viewing angles.

This mirror has some antiquing spots due to its age.

Art Deco Vases Hand Blown Frosted Glass Pair, 20th Century, French.

Hand blown glass vases with frosted glass tiered square bases. Stylized foliate design in the Art Deco style, the bottom of the vases resting on the base, and widens toward the top with the opening resembling a large open double leaf.

Frosted glass on two sides of the vases, and clear glass on the other sides. Stylized leaf veins through the clear glass and the frosted glass, toward the top.

Made in France in the 20th Century, circa 1920.

The size of the two is variable. One measures 6 1/2" high, the other 6" high, both have a mouth 8" wide at the widest part.

Beautiful patchwork pattern against a lovely dark blue background makes this a very attractive collectible!

This quilt is 100% wool, new never used, and is a Pieced Log Cabin Quilt. The background of dark blue has a floral pattern on it, and there is also a darker blue background closer to the center. This has a different floral pattern on it. In the center of the quilt are strips of fabric of many different vibrant colors arranged in an interesting geometric design.

This is a lovely set of 7 Victorian Vintage Animal Horm Cups/ Tumblers.

They are made from animal horn in a traditional Victorian style. These are vintage tumblers.

These tumblers are in excellent condition, except for a defect on one of the cups (see photo) A crack was glued, possibly at the time of manufacture, but that is uncertain

One of these tumblers has cork on the bottom as a base. Another tumbler has a lead base. All of the other tumblers are made only of animal horn. This is an excellent collectible set of original animal horn tumblers!

These tumblers have a very smooth texture, and a very unique appearance. This is being sold as one set of 7 tumblers from the Victorian era. This is an authentic Tiffany & Co. 14K Gold Ruby and Diamond Brooch and Earring set made in circa 1950

This gorgeous and stunning matching set is made in a starburst design.

The brooch and earrings have a star design radiating out from a central large diamond. The rays of the star are filled with genuine red rubies. "Behind" the first red ruby rays are a "shadow" set of rays which are filled with diamonds.

The rays are outlined in gold with the gems set into the outlines. Behind the two ray layers described above, are another set of rays that are made from pure 14K yellow gold. This is truly a stunning set, designed beautifully by Tiffany & Co artisans.

The brooch measures 2 inches in diameter, and the earrings are 1 and 1/8 inch diameter. There is a large diamond at the center of the brooch and the center of the earrings. There are 30 rubies in the pin with 10 surrounding diamonds (not chips). The earrings each have 20 rubies surrounding the central diamond, and 10 surrounding diamonds in each earring (not chips). The carat weight of each gem is presently unknown, though the center diamonds are very large. This pin and earring set was created circa 1950. This two piece set appraised for $12,500, and the appraisal is part of the auction.

This is a set of antique Sterling Silver napkin rings.

The markings on the rings indicate that this set is most likely British sterling, from the town of Birmingham, England. The date marks appear to indicate that this set of napkin rings was made between 1800 and 1805.

This set of napkin rings comes in its original box, with latch clasp still intact. The rings are marked with the letter BG & C.

The rings are designed with attention to detail, and have what appears to be a type of simple lacing on the edges.

These sterling silver napkin rings are in excellent condition.
